Oxygenating Pond Plants – Future Forests

Temporarily closed for in-person visits

Due to staff shortages we have chosen to close our nursery for in-person visits until further notice. You can still place orders through our website and we will be offering collections from our parking lot. See our delivery and collection details before placing an order.

Oxygenating Pond Plants

Oxygenating plants are vital for all sizes of ponds. They are some of only a few varieties of water plants that actually bring oxygen back into the water, making it available for other plants, animals, and helpful bacteria.

Learn more about choosing and growing water plants in a wildlife pond in our advice section and find even more information in our resources.

Availability and planting | April to August

The best time of year for planting water lilies and other water plants is April to August, while they are in full growth. If you would like to learn more about choosing and growing water plants, have a look at our advice page.
