White Cedar Fire Chief
A dwarf, globe-shaped selection of the white cedar, this exceptional evergreen conifer behaves like a seasonal colour chameleon in the garden. It is highly valued for its dense, finely textured fan-like sprays of scale-like foliage that naturally maintain a tidy, compact mound without any pruning. The growth undergoes a continuous transition throughout the year. In Spring, the fresh foliage emerges as a bright, glowing golden-yellow. As Summer progresses, the exterior tones deepen into warm shades of bronze and orange, which finally intensify into a rich, fiery russet-red during Autumn and Winter. The interior foliage remains a soft sage-green, giving the plant a beautiful sense of depth. This slow-growing variety is highly adaptable and requires little to no routine maintenance. It fits effortlessly into small spaces and retains its perfectly neat spherical shape over time, providing steady structure and a bright pop of color to the landscape across all four seasons.
