David’s Golden Yew
A dwarf form of the fastigate common yew, Taxus baccata David is a compact evergreen tree. This new variety has beautiful golden young foliage that fades as it matures. David’s Golden Yew also has a more upright and narrow form, making it a useful tree for smaller spaces on difficult sites and soils. It is a male cultivar and does not bear the usual red berries as most yews do. Makes a fine specimen for a gravel or heather garden bringing height and a golden colour; can also be grown in a pot.
