Selinum Wallichianum

Wallich Milk Parsley

Widely regarded as one of the finest umbellifers for garden use, this elegant Himalayan native produces large, flattened domes of tiny white star-shaped flowers that hover like delicate lace above deep red-tinged stems. Rising above mounds of intricate, fern-like foliage, its architectural silhouette brings lightness, movement, and contrast to borders from late Summer well into Autumn. Even as the blooms fade, the attractive dried seedheads remain upright throughout Winter, providing extended visual interest and valuable shelter for garden wildlife. Thriving in sunny or dappled-shade borders, it pairs beautifully with late-flowering perennials and ornamental grasses.
