An American-bred, late-season, summer-fruiting raspberry, Rubus idaeus Cascade Delight fruits from mid-July to September and will need the support of a post and wires, or be grown against a fence or wall. The fruits are large, conical, glossy, raspberry-pink; the flesh is juicy with a good flavour, and quite firm, giving it a longer shelf-life. A vigorous, reliable, disease-resistant cane fruit, it is resistant to root-rot, so is tolerant of heavier, wetter soils. Self-fertile and good for attracting pollinators.
