Plum Jubilee
Also known as Jubileum, dual-purpose Plum Jubilee was bred in Sweden in 1985 and is well adapted to colder climates. Often seen as an improved version of Plum Victoria, though they are not near relations. Large, oval, deep red fruit turning purple when ripe, with a free stone and sweet, firm, juicy, yellow flesh with a good balance of sweetness and acidity. Moderately vigorous, upright tree; heavy, reliable, cropper. Self-fertile, but may crop even better if cross-pollinated. Very good disease resistance, and easy to grow.
