Picea omorika Nana

Dwarf Serbian Spruce

A dwarf version of the Serbian spruce, Picea omorika 'Nana' is a slow-growing, evergreen, coniferous shrub with a dense, compact, broadly pyramidal to globose habit. Its short, spreading branches create a neat, mounded appearance that becomes more conical as it matures. The needles are short and stiff, dark green on the upper surface with striking silvery-blue undersides, creating a beautiful "bicolour" effect as the foliage catches the light. This cultivar is perfect for smaller gardens, rockeries, or large containers where its tidy form and subtle texture can be appreciated. It is exceptionally easy to grow and requires no pruning to maintain its shape.
