New Zealand Flax Flamingo
A richly coloured New Zealand Flax, suitable for the smaller garden, Phormium Flamingo is an evergreen shrub forming a clump of sword-shaped leaves. The leaves are pink and olive-green in alternating stripes. This plant is suitable for a gravel garden, or for growing in containers, but also works as an accent plant in the smaller garden. New Zealand flax Flamingo, once established, is drought-resistant, but water in its first year. No pruning needed.
