Variagated Tulip Tree
An elegant and eye-catching variation of the classic species, Liriodendron tulipifera ‘Aureomarginata’ is a majestic fast-growing tree perfect for large landscapes or estates. Known as the Variegated Tulip Tree, it is celebrated for its striking, large foliage which features a bright yellow-gold margin surrounding a soft green center. As the season progresses, the golden edges mellow to a creamy yellow, eventually turning a uniform, brilliant gold in the Autumn. The distinctive, four-lobed leaves have the signature "clipped" appearance that makes the Tulip Tree so recognizable. While it produces the same exotic, tulip-shaped green and orange flowers in midsummer as the species, it is primarily grown for its luminous, decorative canopy.
