Ligustrum japonicum Rotundifolium

Japanese privet Rotundifolium

An attractive variety of Japanese Privet, Ligustrum japonicum Rotundifolium has waxy deep green evergreen leaves, rounded in shape and wavy at the margins. Growth is slow and upright in habit making this a very effective and modestly sized architectural plant. Ligustrum japonicum Rotundifolium also makes a fine small and slow growing evergreen hedge. White flowers appear on untrimmed plants during the Summer that are nectar rich and popular with all kinds of pollinating insects. The flowers are followed by black berries in Autumn.
