Valued for its unique variegated foliage and colourful contrasting tips, Euphorbia x martini Ascot Rainbow is a low growing soft downy evergreen sub-shrub which produces bushy rosettes of striking foliage all year. The leaves are a mid grey green with bright golden edges, in cooler months the centre is tinged pink. Martin's Spurge looks great planted en masse over banks, mixed in borders or spilling out of winter containers. The flower cups are subtle in comparison to the leaves, in shades of cream and lime which appear from early Spring to Summer. The flowers are an important source of nectar for bees and butterflies. Martin’s Spurge is a lover of full sun, thriving in a wide range of soils making this a great choice as a groundcover plant. Be careful where you plant as it's toxic to livestock. Holds the RHS Award for Garden Merit.
