Japanese Cedar Elegans Nana

Soft needle-like foliage and seasonal colour shifts distinguish Cryptomeria japonica Elegans Nana - a slow growing, dwarf Japanese Cedar with a dense, rounded habit. Throughout Spring and Summer, its feathery leaves form a lush canopy of bright sea-green. Then as temperatures drop in Autumn, the foliage takes on a bronze hue that lasts all through Winter (colder Winters may encourage the foliage to turn deeper shades of bronze), before returning to green in Spring. Its compact, billowy growth requires no routine pruning to maintain a neat shape, making it an excellent structural accent for rockeries, gravel gardens, or small spaces needing year-round visual interest.
