Caryopteris Worcester Gold

Bluebeard 'Worcester Gold'

Luminous, golden-yellow foliage meets vivid violet-blue blooms in this stunning, late-season deciduous shrub. Commonly known as Bluebeard, 'Worcester Gold' brings a spectacular burst of late Summer colour to borders, rockeries, and gravel gardens, remaining bright and vibrant long into Autumn. Throughout Spring and early Summer, the aromatic leaves emerge in shades of warm gold. From August through October, dense clusters of rich blue flowers appear along the stems, providing a striking colour contrast and serving as an essential nectar source for bees and butterflies. Highly drought-tolerant once established and easy to maintain, this recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit thrives in warm, sunny spots.
