Astilbe Bridal Veil (syn. Brautschleier)
Astilbe ‘Bridal Veil’ is a refined, clump-forming perennial with soft, creamy-white plumes that arch gracefully above a mound of finely divided mid-green foliage. Flowering from early to mid-summer, it brings a delicate, airy presence to shaded borders, woodland plantings, and moisture-retentive garden beds. It makes an excellent cut flower and is attractive to butterflies & other pollinators.
Site: Sheltered - Best in borders, woodland gardens, shaded beds
Soil: Moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil
Position: Partial to full shade (will flower less reliably in full shade)
