Silver Wattle
A small, evergreen, flowering tree that is native to Australia. Acacia retinoides has vivid yellow flowers that appear intermittently throughout the year, beginning in Spring and are very fragrant. Acacia retinoides has attractive narrow willow like leaves and a spreading habit. Unusually for Acacias, this variety will tolerate lime. Good for a small sheltered garden, though equally fitting in larger gardens. It will form a great specimen in a large pot, to be sheltered in winter in cold regions, or in the open ground in mild climates.
