Mahonia Magical Winter Fern 

A striking, compact growing, evergreen Mahonia that produces bright yellow racemes around November and December. The large yellow flowers on Mahonia Magical Winter Fern stand above the slender fern-like foliage and are followed by purplish-black fruits. These fruits are loved by birds.

Site: Tolerates some exposure
Soil: Any humus-rich, well drained soil
Position: Prefers partial shade
Season of interest: All year, especially late summer and autumn
