Bringing plants to growers all over Ireland

We're Mattie and Maria, the current keepers of Future Forests.

Our nursery has been in West Cork since 1986 when it was started by Maria's parents. We took the helm in 2008 but stayed true to the original mission: to pioneer the gardens, orchards and woodlands of the future.

Whatever your goals - from planting a few alpines to creating an entire arboretum, we can be part of your growing story.

Plant a Tree - Grow a School

Fundraising Project for WCSS

For as little as €10, you can take part in this inspiring project - we will plant a native tree here in West Cork and you will be helping the environment and support self-directed, democratic learning at the West Cork Sudbury School (WCSS)
