We have put together a collection of some of the very best bulb varieties. Chosen for their shape, colour, and reliability, some are old favorites and some are more modern varieties. They all have something special to offer either planted in among your existing flower beds, in containers, or in a big swathe across your lawn.
The best time of year for planting bulbs is September to November (unless they are in-the-green), while they are dormant and before the ground freezes, with some exceptions, tulips are best planted in November.
