Daffodil (Narcissi) Minnow

Daffodil Minnow

A charming, scented, early, miniature daffodil, Narcissus Minnow is a deciduous bulbous perennial with an upright habit. The strap-shaped leaves are mid-green. In March and into April, each stem carries up to five beautifully scented flowers, which have creamy-white petals and a small, pale yellow cup, which fades to cream. Daffodil Minnow is stunning at the front of a border or in containers, or dotted between still-dormant perennials. Plant 4-6”/10/15cm deep and 4”/10cm apart. Dead-head, including the seed capsule behind the flowerhead, allow the leaves to die down naturally (don’t tie them up) and give a mulch of compost or manure after the leaves have died down. Daffodil Minnow holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
