Wisteria frutescens Amethyst Falls

Wisteria Amethyst Falls

A stunning and more manageable alternative to traditional varieties, Wisteria frutescens 'Amethyst Falls' is a deciduous climber known for its prolific, grape-like clusters of fragrant, lavender-blue flowers. Unlike its vigorous Asian relatives, this American Wisteria is much less vigorous and slower-growing, making it ideal for smaller gardens or large containers. It blooms at a younger age, often in its first year, producing a spectacular display in late spring with occasional repeat blooms in summer. The foliage consists of elegant, bright green pinnate leaves that provide a lush, textured screen without overwhelming nearby structures.
