White Japanese Wisteria

A fast-growing woody, deciduous vine with large pinnate leaves, Wisteria needs sturdy support in a sheltered south or west facing position. ‘Longissima Alba’ bears long drooping racemes of pure white flowers that can reach almost 2 ft in length. Prune regularly to keep this vigorous climber in its place and encourage flowering.

Position: Full sun to partial shade and any aspect
Soils: Moist, well-drained
Hardiness: Mostly hardy in Ireland
