Tulip Orange Princess

Tulip Orange Princess

The fat blooms of this double late tulips look almost like peonies, Tulip 'Orange Princess' flowers open as a rich warm orange and then develop a bronze hue as they mature. This striking tulip has a light, pleasingly sweet scent without being overpowering.  As with all tulips, plant 'Orange Princess' bulbs in well-drained soil and keep it moist throughout the growing season. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally rather than cutting it off, as this helps the bulbs accumulate energy for the next year.
