Thyme, common | Thymus vulgaris

Thymus vulgaris

This common garden herb has tiny, aromatic dark green leaves on a bushy dwarf shrub with small, spikes of small, white or pink flowers in early summer.
A little bit sharper in taste than Oregano and sweeter than Sage, it is often used in cooking and for medicinal purposes. Bees love it, too.
