This little conifer is suitable for smaller gardens. Taxodium distichum Pévé Minaret is a very small, deciduous tree with red-brown bark, a columnar or pyramidal habit and ascending branches. The soft, flat, green leaves turn yellow and brown in autumn. Mature trees produce cylindrical cones 12mm long. This tree is particularly good in an architectural, city or courtyard garden, or low-maintenance garden. Swamp cypress Pévé Minaret is an easy tree, needs no pruning, and is pest- and disease-free.
