Stipa arundinacea syn. anemanthele lessoniana is a very attractive clump forming grass with narrow olive green leaves that streak with yellow, red and orange in the Autumn. Commonly known as pheasant’s grass, it bears slender feathery purplish flower heads in summer. Excellent planted in a container.
