Sedum ‘Chocolate Drop’ is a striking, compact perennial grown for its dark foliage and late-season colour. It has rich, dark bronze to chocolate-purple leaves that form low, dense mounds — providing bold contrast in beds and borders. In late summer to early autumn, clusters of small, bright pink star-shaped flowers appear above the foliage, adding vibrant colour and attracting bees and butterflies.
This easy to care for sedum is drought tolerant once established, it thrives in poor or dry soils, and is perfect for sunny borders, rock gardens, and containers. ‘Chocolate Drop’ combines beautifully with ornamental grasses and other sun-loving perennials, adding texture and seasonal interest, especially in later part of the year.
