Climbing Rose Golden Showers

Glorious golden blooms and a persistent flowering habit make Rosa 'Golden Showers' one of the most popular climbing roses for Irish gardens. Unfurling from pointed, high-centred buds, the sweet-scented, daffodil-yellow blossoms open to loose, semi-double flowers that gently fade to soft cream with age. Operating seamlessly as either an upright pillar climber or a large free-standing shrub, it produces dark green, glossy foliage with excellent resistance to disease. Notably shade-tolerant, it brightens up cooler aspects where other roses struggle, delivering a reliable, repeating floral display from early Summer through to the Autumn frosts.

Soil: Any well-drained soil, preferably moist and humus-rich, tolerates clay
