Ornamental Cherry Pandora

Dazzling early spring blossoms and a neat, compact habit make Prunus × subhirtella Pandora the perfect choice for smaller gardens and urban spaces. Before the foliage emerges in early Spring, its bare branches are completely smothered in a profusion of delicate, shell-pink single flowers that gracefully fade to a soft blush-white, beautifully set off by deep pink buds and flower stalk (or pedicels). As the floral display fades, bronze-tinted young leaves unfurl, maturing to a fresh mid-green through Summer. By Autumn, the canopy turns to glowing shades of fiery orange and rich crimson, providing a spectacular second season of colour. Growing with an upright, vase-shaped structure that broadens gently with age, it provides maximum visual impact while occupying minimal ground space, making it perfect for lawn specimens, sunny borders, or street-side avenues.
