Pinus strobus 'Minima' - Dwarf Weymouth pine

Dwarf Weymouth pine

A beautiful true dwarf form of the Weymouth Pine, Pinus strobus 'Minima forms a dense compact mound of fine soft needles. Green to lime green when young, but taking on the expected blue green as it matures. One of the five needled pines, it can also produce cones on a young plant. A great addition to a rock garden or to add evergreen structure to a bed. The name Weymouth comes from Lord Weymouth who planted this tree throughout the UK in the 18th century.
