Spectabilis Bamboo

A rare and truly spectacular, tall ornamental bamboo that will lift up any area with its variety of colours on the canes and very attractive dark glossy foliage. With its yellow stems (with red accents in Spring, in full sun), its upright stature and generally being quite the collector’s item, it will make a conversation piece in any garden setting.
As the plant matures, you can remove the bushier juvenile type canes to show the mature ones in all their splendour, as long as it’s not too early in its lifetime, or it may not reach its full potential.

NOTE.  Initially clump forming, but will spread if not contained
