Eulalia Grass Serengeti

Valued for its vibrant autumnal transformation and neat, compact habit, this striking modern ornamental grass forms a dense, upright mound of fine, arching green leaves with a clean silver-white central stripe through Spring and early Summer. As late Summer approaches, the foliage shifts dramatically, taking on rich burnt-orange, bronze, and deep crimson tones that glow in the Autumn sunlight. From late August into Autumn, tall, feathery flower plumes emerge above the foliage canopy, opening in deep copper-red before maturing to soft, shimmering silver-white. These persistent flower heads hold their shape long into Winter, catching frost and bringing structure and movement to cold garden landscapes. Exceptionally hardy and wind-resistant, 'Serengeti' is an ideal choice for prairie-style planting schemes, contemporary borders, or high-impact patio containers.
