Mahonia Buckland
Mahonia x media Buckland is an exceptional, robust shrub that adds texture and Winter colour to shaded garden spaces. It produces large, arching, whorled fronds of dark green, spiny-toothed leaves that resemble holly pinnates, creating a striking tropical look year-round. From late Autumn into Winter, long, spreading terminal racemes of soft yellow, sweetly scented flowers emerge at the branch tips, attracting early pollinators before ripening into decorative blue-black berries. With its upright, tiered growth habit, Buckland serves as an outstanding structural specimen for woodland borders, shady architectural plantings, or security screens.
