Magnolia Sunsation

This Magnolia Sunsation has large golden yellow cup shaped flowers with pink stripe that get to 17cm (7in) across. A cross between Magnolia x brooklynensis 'Woodsman' x Magnolia 'Elizabeth'  With an upright habit, this magnificent new variety makes a beautiful deciduous specimen tree for a small garden, or it can also be grown as a focal point on a large lawn.

Soil: Any fertile, moist but well-drained soil, preferably clay or loam
Position: Full sun or partial shade
Season of interest: Late Spring
Hardiness: Very hardy
Height:  20’ (6m) Spread: 10’ (3m)  in 10-20 years
