Iris Reticulata J. S. Dijt is a lovely dwarf iris with a light fragrance. This dwarf bulbous plant grows up to 12cm tall, it has linear, mid-green leaves and flowers that reach 8cm in diameter. Blooming in late winter to early spring, its petals are a vivid violet-purple, highlighted by a central yellow band and adorned with bright-blue to deep-purple splashes. Winter-flowering irises add a splash of color to the late winter garden, they are perfect for planting in light grass, at the front of borders, or in containers where their charming blooms can be fully appreciated.

Soils: Well drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil. Dislikes water logging.
