Hydrangea Diamant Rouge
A new panicle hydrangea grown for its unusual colour and dramatic impact, Hydrangea paniculata Diamant Rouge® is a medium-sized, deciduous shrub with a rounded habit. The leaves emerge quite early, a good green which colours nicely in autumn. Masses of big, cone-shaped flowers, borne on strong stems, emerge creamy-white, gradually turning pink and then deep raspberry-red – the reddest colouration of all the paniculatas. Flowers for months from mid-summer to autumn; for best flowering, prune hard, to within a few buds of the woody framework, in early spring. Very easy to grow.
