Hydrangea arborescens Pink Annabelle

Hydrangea Pink Annabelle

A pink version of the popular hydrangea Annabelle, Hydrangea arborescens Pink Annabelle is a deciduous shrub with a rounded, bushy habit. The pointed, ovoid leaves are mid-green and up to 8”/20cm long. From July to September, the plant bears large, mophead, pale pink flowers, flushed and edged with deeper pink; the flowers are as much as 1’/30cm across, on sturdy stems – don’t over-feed, to make sure it doesn’t flop. Hydrangea Pink Annabelle can also be grown in soil-based compost in a large container. Hydrangeas hate drying out, so water well in times of drought.
