Witch Hazel Rubin
Forming an open, spreading vase-shaped habit, this robust deciduous shrub provides an exceptional burst of fiery colour during the coldest months. From mid-Winter through to early Spring, the bare branches become densely smothered in large, highly perfumed flowers featuring long, wavy petals in a striking burnt-orange to copper-red hue. The blooms release a powerful, sweet spice scent that easily wafts across winter gardens. In Spring, broad, hazel-like green foliage emerges, which transforms in Autumn into a brilliant display of vivid yellow, orange, and deep red before dropping.
