Hardy Geranium Ann Thomson
A spreading but still tidy Geranium, more compact than Ann Folkard. This very long flowering variety has bright magenta purple flowers with distinctive veining running to a dark centre. Emerging Spring leaves can be yellow, later turning to a mid green.
Very easy to grow, this variety was bred in coastal Scotland and so has the added benefit of tolerating wind and a coastal site. A reliable and prolific addition to any garden.
It also holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
