Weeping Nootka Cypress

Dramatic, weeping branches draped in curtain-like sprays of dark green foliage make Chamaecyparis nootkatensis 'Pendula'—commonly known as the Weeping Nootka Cypress—one of the most striking architectural conifers available. A strong, straight central leader drives its tall, spire-like form, while lateral main branches spread horizontally before dropping almost vertically toward the ground. This distinctive, cascading curtain effect creates a statuesque, timeless focal point in large borders, lawn settings, or woodland plantings. Exceptionally hardy and easy to grow, it requires no routine pruning to maintain its graceful, weeping silhouette.
