Cedrus deodara - Deodar Cedar

Deodar Cedar

A beautiful evergreen conifer in the cedar family Cedrus deodara is a large growing elegant tree with descending branches covered in bunches of needle-like leaves. These needles when young are glaucous or blue toned but soon turn green. The leaves of the Deodar Cedar are longer than the Atlas Cedar making it more feathery looking. Its large cones also add extra interest to this tree, ideal for a mid to large sized garden.
