Campanula poscharskyana

Serbian Bellflower

Campanula poscharskyana is a vigorous, low-growing perennial beloved for its spreading habit and mass of starry, lilac-blue flowers. Blooming from late spring through summer — and often into autumn — this bellflower creates a carpet of colour that’s perfect for softening walls, trailing over containers, or filling gaps in rockeries and paving.

Its small, toothed green leaves form a dense mat, making it an excellent groundcover that’s also attractive to pollinators. Hardy and low-maintenance, it thrives in sun or part shade and tolerates a range of soils, including poorer or stony ground.
