Beautyberry Imperial Pearl

Spectacular metallic violet berries packed along bare stems make Callicarpa bodinieri Imperial Pearl one of the most remarkable deciduous shrubs for late-season impact. Emerging bronze in Spring, the lance-shaped leaves mature to deep green throughout Summer before shifting to rich golden-purple tones in Autumn. Small, lilac-pink flowers bloom along the branches in mid-Summer, giving way to large, tight clusters of glossy, iridescent purple berries. As the leaves fall in late Autumn, these dazzling bead-like fruits remain fully exposed throughout Winter, creating an extraordinary display in garden borders and winter flower arrangements.
