Brunnera macrophylla Jack Frost PBR

Siberian Bugloss Jack Frost

An exceptionally good Siberian bugloss, Brunnera macrophylla Jack Frost is a small, spreading, ground-covering, rhizomatous perennial, perfect for bringing a splash of light to a shady part of the garden. The big, heart-shaped leaves are silver, with green edges and veins. From March into May, Jack Frost carries blue, forget-me-not-like flowers with tiny pink throats. The flowers can seed about mildly, but will not come true, and dead flower-stems are best cut back. Siberian bugloss Jack Frost holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit, and is protected by Plant Breeders Rights.
