Apple Lady Finger of Offaly

An Irish heritage variety of early–mid-season dessert apple. Apple Lady Finger of Offaly, also known as Lady’s Finger of Offaly, was first recorded in 1851. Small to medium-sized, ribbed, oblong fruit, pale green to yellow flushed orange-red with red streaks; firm, greenish-white, sweet flesh and a savoury flavour, best eaten straight from the tree. Moderately vigorous, spreading tree. Spur-bearer; resistant to scab.

This Irish Heritage Apple variety was originally saved and propagated by Irish Seed Savers in Scarriff, County Clare.
