Hybrid Anemone Elfin Swan

Part of the "Swan" series, this enchanting perennial is a shorter, more manageable relative of the popular 'Wild Swan'. From early Summer right through to the first frosts, it produces a continuous succession of elegant, nodding white flowers. Each bloom features a golden center and is uniquely backed with delicate bands of soft lavender-blue, which are most striking when the petals close or nod in the evening light. Unlike traditional Japanese Anemones that can be tall and invasive, this variety maintains a neat, mounded habit, making it perfect for the front of a border or decorative patio containers. Its semi-double flowers hover on short, sturdy stems above a lush base of deeply-divided green foliage. It is exceptionally versatile, thriving in both sun and partial shade, and provides a long-lasting display in any cool, moist corner of the garden.
