Japanese Anemone Dreaming Swan

Excellent repeat flowering perennials perfect for the late Summer to Autumn garden. Anemone Dreaming Swan, also known as Windflower, is a relatively new addition with an exceptionally long flowering period from early summer to mid autumn. The light pink buds open to the purest of white, double poppy-like flowers that are quite enchanting as they nod above their wiry branching stems, revealing the lavender blue backs of the outer petals. This is definitely one of best Japanese Anemones and does not take over like the Autumn flowering varieties. Excellent as cut flowers, windflowers require very little maintenance once established. Often used as under planting in woodland or mature shrub gardens. Both deer and rabbit resistant and attractive to bees and butterflies. Avoid winter wet.
