Beautiful clusters of scented, white flowers appear from early spring, and are followed in June by edible, sweet, blue berries which can be used for eating fresh, baking and preserves. Saskatoon Thiessen is an easy, self-pollinating shrub, decorative, with edible berries, and can be used as a specimen or in an orchard or woodland garden. Best in slightly acid soil; do not let it dry out.
