Helleborus lividus White Marble

Majorcan Hellebore White Marble

A small, clump-forming, evergreen perennial, Helleborus lividus White Marble is rather tender, and, except in the mildest areas, is best grown in gritty compost in a cold, frost-free greenhouse or cool conservatory. The leathery, deep green leaves, divided into three toothed holly-like leaflets, are beautifully marbled in white and are lovely all year. In late winter and early spring, clusters of cup-shaped apple-green flowers, flushed with with pink, appear. Majorcan hellebore White Marble is a good nectar source for pollinators early in the year, and in the mildest areas does well on a bank under deciduous trees.
